did anyone NOT bring their headpiece and/or veil to their hair trial???
Mine is Monday and I have neither. Is this something I should have before I go...I was undecided about the way I wanted my hair and would rather wait on the headpiece until I know how I'm going to do it. Is this a bad idea???

i think you should go get one because it gives you a better idea of how it will look. remember not all tiara's/headpieces look good with all hairstyles. I dont think the veil really matters, you just have to find out where to place it.

yeah but these hairstylists know all this by now, and what works and what wont or how they can incorporate it. ANd many of them have their own for you to try

Well mines was an imprutu trial but when I really do the trial, I won't be needing it because my hair will be loose and I won't be having a tiara or headband with the hair.

that is true, but I like to see for myself to make the best decision. I trust my judgement more than a hairstylist.

I didnt, I dont have one yet. The stylist had one that they put on me for an example. If you dont have one dont worry, they usually have

I didnt bc I wasnt sure what i wanted yet. I actually worked backwards...decided on a hairstyle I liked and then figured out whcih accessories would look best from that hairstyle.

This was kinda what I'm doing.
I picked out this comb: ...and I figured, it's a comb, they know what to do with combs and if it doesn't fit with my hairstyle then I have a set of pins or a headband that look just like this that I could choose. I just wanted to make sure I had the hair I wanted as opposed to working my hair around the piece.

dont hire a stylist you dont trust then lol...honestly they can know certain things better than we even do...for my trial i was like OH i HAVE to have bangs, she said she'll do bangs first to show me but after she wants to do it without bangs to try something out...normally id be like uhmmm NO i need bangs and want it, but i have seen so much of her work that i loved and knew i could trust her, thank god bc she was right, i preferred her way ALOT better.

I didn't - I still haven't nailed down my veil yet and if i am even wearing one. This way you pick your hair out first since your only wearing the veil for a few hours.

I didn't. I also wasn't sure how I wanted to wear my hair. Now I know exactly what kind of piece I want.

YUP thats another thing, before the trial i thought i wanted one of those thin flat headpieces, well she put one on me and it bothered me, THANK GOD i didnt rush out to buy one bc i completely changed my mind and now i want a jeweled hair come.
