I think I'm going to do that also, just write THANK YOU on the cards, and bring them with you, and let your photographer know.. I think??

I got instructions from someone on this site... I think it was divabride.I used acrylic paint & a paintbrush on poster board. Type out 'Thank You' in a large size font in Word, one letter per page. Then cut them out and use them as stencils. Trace out the letters on the posterboard and paint them in.
It was pretty easy and you can choose what ever font you want -- no need to worry about your handwriting!

I was going to do the same thing. Being a teacher I thought I'd just make an overhead of the words, project them onto the posterboard and then trace them. Good idea for those who have overhead machines might save on the cutting out of the letters.

From the looks of the particular picture you're showing, it looks like they were just holding white poster board and the 'Thank you' was digitally added. Would your photographer be able to do that for you?
