I ordered this set back in February and it was supposed to be delivered in March, then I was told April, then May, then the beginning of June and now the end of June.
Against my better judgement I ordered something from Levitz but this set is very good quality fro the price. DH and I were looking for something pretty resonably priced for our family room, now all we have is an empty room thanks to Levitz.
I know they are having problems with a few vendors keeping up production.
They promise ship dates and then change them...

We ordered our living room set and mattress from Levitz, We had no problems at all! They were delivered on the day promised!
Sorry you are having issues, maybe is does originate with the manufacturer and not the store!

We are having the same issue with the bedroom set we ordered from Levitz. We ordered it in January and it was supposed to come in February, then March, then April and now supposedly May, but I'm not hopeful. We did receive one piece of the set, but it's been a total nightmare dealing with them!

Now I'm worried. We ordered a living room set from them in March and they promised us May. I was upset b/c after looking around and checking out a few other stores we loved this one set, a key point that it had a pull out bed. Well when we tell the lady she said, NO, they no longer make it with a Queen bed. WELL then maybe you should take the tag off that says it comes in a sleeper. Then we had wanted delivery immediately and she tells us not until MAY. URRR

Some people have great experiences with Levitz. I've had a horrible experience though and will never buy another piece of furniture from them again.
I actually called the supplier to find out where else I could buy the furniture but they only make that set for Levitz and a chain store in the midwest. Anyway, I guess I'll just have to wait but this is definately a lesson learned for me.

I know how you feel and unfortunately, we had to learn this the hard way too. Every time my FH calls to complain to them about our lack of bedroom furniture they give us gift certificates to Levitz, but I will never buy anything from them again unless I can take it home with me from the store! They suck!

Sorry, I don't have good news about Levitz. I'm an attorney and I used to do some work for a firm that represents both Levitz and Seamans. Those 2 stores were sued all the time for NOT standing behind their warranties, not correcting defects in the furniture delivered and when they were sued, they fought it every step of the way. I hated working for that firm and I had to stop. Seamans and Levitz were really ripping off the middle class people who they try to target as customers.
If you really want to buy from them, only buy their 'as is' clearance, sale priced items----where they tell you up front that you are taking a chance on being stuck with something that is not usable.

I hate them. IMO they sell temporary furniture. I have a living room set that I bought 2 1/2 years ago and it needs to be replaced. When they advertise no interest no payments until 2007, don't expect your furniture to last that long.
