Did anyone purchase their wedding dress at a Sample Sale?
or know anyone that did? Just curious, I'm thinking of waiting till they have the shows. How much $$ can you save? I heard they are really good.

I purchased my Lazaro at a sample sale. I saved about $600. The only downside was they didn't have a sample in Ivory so I'm wearing white instead, but the dress is beautiful...and it was in perfect condition.

I bought mine at the Paula Varsalona sample sale in November (they are having one this week & next week too). They are truly amazing! My dress retailed for $5,000 and I paid $1,500. I went to a ton of sample sales and you can get amazing deals! If you have any questions about Paula Varsalona, FM me.

I went to the Kleinfeld sample sale and saved about 75%. It was a great experience. That was my favorite part of the wedding planning process. I've been to the Vera Wang sale, and that is a crazy madhouse, and most of the gown are in pretty bad shape.

I purchased my gown at the Bridal Garden in NYC where they have a combination of sample dresses that have been donated by designers and dresses that were previously worn by brides. I found a Ulla Maija dress that I would of never been able to afford.

I did! I went to a sample sale at Kleinfeld and didn't really expect to find anything. Justina McCaffrey was having a trunk show that day, and I ended up buying one of the trunk show samples. I saved about $1,000 and the dress is in wonderful condition!

I bought my gown at a Reem Acra sample sale. I saved about $3000 on my gown - couldn't have afforded it otherwise.

I did.
I hated my 1st dress and found my 2nd dress at a sample sale at Macy's in NYC. It was 15% off but I think they gave me 20% in the end.

How do we find out about the famous designers sample sales? how did you find out about the Reem Acra sample sale?

I got mine for 50% off at Reva Mivasagar. Try www.dailycandy.com and www.nysale.com for info on sample sales. I get emails from The Knot about the Kleinfeld sales. You can also try calling the stores. They will usually tell you.
