Is it typical for a videographer to not give you a copy of the unedited version. Ours is asking $100 for it. Is it worth having?

We are likely doing that. I wasn't going to get a video at all since it cost too much. but now we found someone who wiil do it for $650. I believe the video will be pre-edited as the wedding occurs. I was originally willing to just give someone a camera and let them go to town. Anyway, $100 for unedited sounds good to me.

We did but it was included. He initially forgot to give it to us but we asked for it because we wanted to see the difference and if he had caught any other moments that weren't on the edited one.
For $100 I'd go for it

It is included in our package. I actually never heard of there being a charge though......

We got a copy of our video unedited. I prefer it that way so I can view it and have it edited as I please. I suppose having a degree in TV and Film production will help. I want to be the one who decides which moments are important to me.

I will be getting the unedited version. I thought that it was included, but I have to make sure now. Even if it is not included, I will get it no matter what.

Ours was included with our package. And honestly, I think it's more fun to watch than our edited video (which I also love!)

my guy said he'll throw all the unedited footage on a DVD for us, no charge . (T&T Video)

ours was included with our package from Patken, but I believe it will be on VHS, not DVD.......i plan on copying it to a DVD though.
