Is it typical for a videographer to not give you a copy of the unedited version. Ours is asking $100 for it. Is it worth having?

Ours is included but I would get it even if it wasn't. I think it's ridiculous to charge $100 for it.

We got the unedited video and it was included in our package. I'm so glad I have it and that was one thing I did want.

Re: did anyone reqest to get unedited video?
i got the raw footage included. Lot's of places charge for it, but I asked for it to be included in the package at the current cost, (along with additional thank yous, all the negatives, additional print enlargements, bigger parent books and a bigger album for myself). Rather than negotiate price, I negotiated contents.
it depends on the deal you have - $100 isn't far off the prices I've seen for it.

Re: did anyone reqest to get unedited video?
some of the places I contacted did charge extra for it. Ours is included in our package. Of the 3 or 4 companies I contacted most were within about $300 of each other when you added it all up
