Did anyone see the movie OPEN WATER?

What did you think? dh and I rented it last night..I was not really digging it, but I thought that it was sad that something like that really happened.

I told dh that I would never go scuba diving after watching it..

Yeah, we saw it too and we were bored. I felt like I was waiting for something else to happen, but it never happened. They were just stuck there and that was it !!!

I'm also am scared now to be too far from the boat when we go snorkeling. Can you imagine something like that happening. I would just hope that a huge shark would eat us both. I'd hate to sit there and suffer the way they did for so long.

Thank you. He's my baby. My heart is so sad because next week I have to send him to the Pet Hotel for 10 days while I'm on my honeymoon. I have no choice. I'm sure he'll be fine, but I'm just being a paranoid mommy.

Plus I can kick myself...I ended up buying that movie..thinking it was really good with two others at blockbuster..they had a special..buy two, get one free..

He's staying at the PetSmart in Huntington. They just opened a Pets Hotel inside their store. They had a grand opening a few weeks ago. They all seemed so nice and they have people who work and stay there 24 hours with a doctor on site as well. I do feel confident that he will be well taken care of, I just feel bad to keep him locked up in a cage for so long. Someone told me to bring a pair of my dirty socks so he'll sleep with them and feel close to me. I'm not sure how the staff would feel about that one !

My simba is the same way. He stayed with my mom for a week once and she never saw him. I was going to bring him there anyway, but my mom lives in S.I. and live in L.I. and I didn't want to have to drive all the way there after we get home knowing that he'll just hide the whole time. If he was sociable and friendly with other people, than I would do it. He's such a scardy cat that I'm hoping he'll toughen up a bit by staying at the hotel. This is what I'm telling myself to make myself feel better. Good luck finding a store in NJ. If you find one, you should go and check it out. It's like a real 'people' motel when you check in, with the front desk and all. It's pretty cute.

YEah. I would like Tiger to toughen up a little. That's a good idea. I hope it works!

That place sounds great. I am sure he will be in good hands.

It's so hard deciding what to do with them when we go away..I hope I find one near me..

Do you mind posting/fming me how much you are paying for him to stay there?

Thx.

Saw it..didnt care for it but did get freaked out by what & how it happened. Yea, No scubadiving for me either.
The movie was based on true events so it did happen.
Thats sick to think about!

All I could think about the entire time was how pretty the main actress looked, and how unrealistic it was that she wasn't charred from the sun or dried out by the water. Gotta love Hollywood.

I think that they do. I have not seen the movie, but I believe that the actual couple is presumed dead.
