OMG What the F*&K is Hilde thinking? I would KILL somebody. The red room was okay-it was missing something, but records on the walls? And did anyone see the bathroom she did with the flowers? How do you clean that? I want to do a follow up show to see how many people rip that cr*p down in 2 weeks & how many of the pieces of 'furniture' that Ty builds are still in one piece! I do love the show, but I never had a neighbor I would trust enough!

The best was the one with Doug in leather pants. Hilda is crazy, was it the one with the grass on the walls? I still love Vern the best, at least his creations never made anybody cry on camera.

I saw it and it was the worst room i have ever seen. Did you notice that the orange slip cover wasn't thick enough and the plaid was showing through??? I would have cried if that was my room.

I missed it tonight - but I thought the exact same thing about the flowers on the wall! That's a dusty nightmare! I love laurie, and I can tolerate everyone else (even Doug) but I swear I'd run if I saw Hildy - I always end up saying what the heck was she thinking?!?!

I completely agree. The worst thing about it is the neighbors invariably come around and agree, like the flower people. How could they let her do that?? And there is NO WAY the home owners liked it. It was awful. Hildy and Doug are the worst. What does Doug own stock in the color brown? Bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms - all in brown. Yuck.
I missed last night. It sounds like another train wreck.

I thought that same with the first ever bathroom Kelly with the flowers, how do you clean that? It looked cool but totally not practical. Some of those rooms are not practical at all. I hate it when the homeowners need a new work space/kid room and they make the room into a totally kid friendly place and get rid of the home office, like WTF? Do they listen?
What about when Doug brought those real cut off cars into that little boys room...OK cool and all but what happens when the kid is 15, he won't fit in that car anymore!!!

I loved the room Vern did!
Hildy's stuff is usually pretty terrible but this room was one of her worst! The colors, the fabric, the entertainment center, the records..not one thing worked.
Oh and on the flowers thing - b/c she used all those staples in the bathroom, she ruined the greenboard (sheetrock used for bathrooms b/c its waterproof) which will eventually damage the house. How stupid is she?

Hilde's rooms are pretty much always AWFUL!!! The albums and all the colors looked ridiculous.
Just as Vern's rooms are pretty much always great. I really like the gold leafing on the table and screen. I would love to get him here to decorate our bedroom

I didn't get that either Stef. And I thought the same thing about the showgirl outfit! The promo should have had all the designers carrying her though. lol.
Maybe the live reveal could be interesting, no chance to edit out any foul words for crappy designs! And maybe someone will finally try and kick Hilde's ass.

Does anyone remember the rusty wall? I think it was Genevive..........the only request was nothing oriental & she used a kimono as her inspiration piece!!! The neighbor kept saying'she's going to hate it-we can't do it'. What about the moss covered dining room wall?? I think it was doug. I loved the room Vern did the other night, I think it needed something...like crown molding or different window treatments. I really liked that wood wall covering though. Our bedroom is red & gold so I'm fond of that combo.
As for the flowered bathroom, I think the southern belle homeowner was just being nice, I don't think she liked it at all. By the looks of those brand new homes she probably has the budget to re-do it anyway & thought it would be fun to be on the show. They even destroyed the entire vanity cabinet!!!

The flowered bathroom was horrible. I would have been so mad if that was my room I always hate Hildy's rooms- but the new designer is worse. Did you see her army camoflage room--or the one with the fake grass bed spread?

I missed the episode you're talking about but did you ever see when Hilde put HAY on the walls??? The neighbors told her they have SMALL children who will EAT this if you put it on the wall and she was like, oh, no they wont! I would go insane if I saw that woman nearing my home!!
And that flower bathroom was hideous!!! it was GOREGEOUS before she touched it!
And Doug is retarded. I like all the other designers though!
