Re: Did anyone see True Life: I am Getting Married on MTV
I will agree that is is wrong to make fun of someone's physical appearance. However I am not going to keep my mouth shut when it comes to someone's behavior. I get turned off when I see anyone- friend or stranger acting in an inappropriate manner.

Re: Did anyone see True Life: I am Getting Married on MTV
Although I definitely think that the SI couple were disrespectful towards each other and should be embarresed of their behavior..... I LOVE her dress! I thought it was beautiful (and it helped that she had a great body). Also, did anyone notice her necklace? It is exactly what I am looking for but I don't know where to find it! Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Did anyone see True Life: I am Getting Married on MTV
I finally saw it!!!!!!Too, too funny.. I was laughing so hard. I called my mom to watch it. What flash backs... I grew up on the border of HB and DH in SI. We said people like that are the reason we moved!!! hehe Those two belong together.
Ronni&Theresa - What church did they get married at? They made the turn at New Park and I thought they were headed to Our Lady of Grace (the church I got married at)....but it wasn't. All I kept saying was please don't get married at my church!!!
And where was the reception....it said Brooklyn?

Re: Did anyone see True Life: I am Getting Married on MTV
Wow, I sure did miss a lot of drama since I last posted on this thread
Woo Hoo, I do think the subject of the SI couple got way carried away. I was surprised by some of the mean things some people wrote, a little unneccessarily harsh IMO. Personally I thought the couple was hilarious to watch, and quite entertaining, more so than the boring FLorida couple. However, their behavior was awful. I think the way they acted and cursed at each other was disrespectful, and I would not be marrying any man who spoke to me like that.
However, her appearance doesnt bother me at all. Lips, boobs, who cares? I loved her dress, and I think she looked great in it. I do think she should take it easy on the tanning for her own good though
Overall, FH and I were both quite entertained, and I think that was the purpose of the show

Re: Did anyone see True Life: I am Getting Married on MTV
Was just on, and hubby and I laughed our butts off.I just want to say, don't we ALL judge other people by appearances? Whether we say it out loud or not. For those of you posting the holier than thou posts about how wrong they are... if this was an episode of FRIENDS and Courtney Cox looked like that, I am SURE all of you would have chimed in as to how her boobs were fake and whatnot. Just b/c she is Ronnie/Theresa's supposed friend (why wasn't she AT the wedding then?) means we all have to tiptoe around here? This has ALWAYS been an open forum. Those couples put themselves on TV to FLAUNT themselves. You don't think that they weren't putting on a show for everyone? They thought they were being cool. I am SURE Sabrina loves when people discuss her humongous breasts, why else would she have practically FLASHED the viewing audience in the scene at the tanning salon? Plus, if you have implants that is fine, but when they are humongous and very obvious, you are screaming to be noticed, I am sorry.
I digress...
My point is... they put themselves out there on TV. This is an open forum. Why are Ronnie&Teresa and Susans getting so offended? Are we attacking you? No. So get over it. It was a show. They acted like morons. I think had they not been so obnoxious, the comments about the boobs, attire on the groom and lips would have been less.
Just my opinion, which I am entitled to.

Re: Did anyone see True Life: I am Getting Married on MTV
I watched the show again today and still missed the argument (second time now)!Kris, thank you for your message - I totally agree! The first time I caught the end with a bunch of my friends and the comments were all the same - basically, if you act like an a$$ on tv, someone (or everyone) is going to call you on it.
Its not like the Florida couple (bride) didn't act like an a$$ as well, IMO she was, but her DH didn't threaten to cut anyone open...
Just be glad it wasn't you and stay out of show business if you cant handle the criticism!

Re: Did anyone see True Life: I am Getting Married on MTV
I didn't see the entire thing tonight just the last 10 minutes. All I really have to say is that if your on tv you will be talked about whether you like it or not. Look at good old Michael Jackson-yes he looks like an a$$ with that nose and who knows what he was thinking when he placed his son over the railing and I can keep going... Get my drift? The only reason it seems this situation has gotten out of hand is b/c someone on the board knows the SI couple. There have been threads before on In Style Weddings and TLC (not sure the network) wedding story's on this board. People have talked about the couples and that was that. In this case this couple is known by someone and unfortunately she has to hear others opinions. If my friend had big boobs and her lips were that big (real or not I didn't like them at all. They didn't look normal.), I would let her know. Because that is who I am. If she was ruining her skin while tanning, I would let her know too. And when you go on national television and behave like an a$$, if it was my friend I would let her know. If that was my friend, I would be embarrassed to say that she even was or even be seen with her for that matter. I don't behave in that manner and neither does my FH. Why should I be around people that act in such an appalling manner? In public no less!

She is happy and looked great!!!
