Did anyone send their agent a thank you card or gift after closing?

I was thinking of sending flowers. She even helped us scrape paint off the garage on her own time! LOL

Our agent gave US a gift - a large Mikasa serving bowl!

I think flowers are a nice gesture however, since it sounds like she went the extra mile. A gift certificate for a dinner somewhere would also be a nice gift.

Nope. Although I had a great agent I feel that the thousands of dollars she got from me is thanks enough.

Me too. She didn't help us do a thing - if we needed anything we went straight to the owner or did our own research - she didn't even want to give us comps. Then she called my DH and said she had a packet of info (neighborhood info and stuff) for us after we closed and we never got it. We also had to call her about 5-6 times and to come and take down the For Sale sign after we moved in - she is gets nothing from us. We saw her in the dinneronce and totally went out of our way to avoid her!

No- I feel like they owe US a gift-lol...

It's a nice gesture, but she made $$$$$ off of your sale, ya know?

ours made this big deal about firing her and how someone made her cry, so we want to send her flowers with a card that says she's fired!!

She's also buying a home warranty for us since the sellers didn't want to pay for it and the inspector recommended we get one

We love our agent! He really goes above and beyond. Last time, we just wrote him a nice note but this time I think we'll send him some Omaha steaks or something.
