Did anyone spot after their what they thought was their period

I dunno, I'm on orthotricyclen but I'm just not sure if I may or may not be prego.

Does anyone know of a good test I can take?? I thought I had my period but I just don't know and now I'm still spotting slightly.

I can just go to the hospital on base and get tested but I don't want dh to know that I went and well privacy on base doesn't really exist.

Anyone have this happen to them?

Just buy an EPT or Fact Plus type test. They sell them all over drug stores. A blood test will take a few days to get back usually. Take the home test in the morning though. Your hormones are stronger at that time.

You can take a First Reponse Early Results pregnancy test. It says on the box that it can tell if you are pregnant up to 3 or 4 days before your AF.

Im on the mini pill...and now that Julianne has weaned herself I am spotting...soo...have to take a trip to the obgyn to get diff pills now

Ok, well I have a phone interview which should be calling any second.. and then I'm gonna run out and get one. Should it still be considered early enough if I go get it started by 10:30???

You can spot while taking bcp. Did you miss taking a pill or are you just worried because of the spotting?

i used to spot on that pill....breakthrough bleeding...take a p-test just in case, and then check w. your doctor!

Here is my dilemma. I have been on Orthotricyclen since I was 18 and I'm now 24 I only started using it for birthcontrol during the past year and 1/2 or so ... I used to be on it for cramps when I was younger.
About 9 months ago I got prego while taken it and had a very early miscarriage. Part of which I blame on my dr's at Pensacola. So, now I had a light period and I'm still spotting and I am just concerned.

Also, a factor that is scaring the crap out of me is I know about 6 women who are now expecting who got their orthotricyclen from where I did!

Argh!
I think I will just be careful with what I eat and drink and wait it out another 20 something days and see what happens. I am real intune with my body so normally I know when things are occuring quickly. I did just take the Answer test and I got a negative but now I'm not sure if that is because I'm still using the orthotricyclen..

If you are worried, I would try another test first thing in the morning. Just make sure its one that would pick up pregnancy really early.

Actually the one I purchased is an early test and it actually came with two in a box.. lol

I'm planning on just seeing how the rest of the week goes and all else fails I will try to go to the lab on monday.

I hate not having a Gyno and moving! And if I am prego it will be interesting since we are in Corpus Christi, Tx now then in March we will be moving to Little Rock, Ark and then August we will be moving to Ankorage, AK, or Germany! I can't even imagine all those different doctors...

I was not on any BCPs, but I had gotten what I thought was AF, and hten found out a week later I was 6 weeks pregnant. So take a HPT just to be sure....

Yes, I am the perfect example. I was spotting so much that I though for sure I was getting AF. It turned out I was PG. I spotted on and off for 2 weeks before I eventually stopped.

I read that some women don't realize that they are pregnant right away because they spot but assume that it was a light period. So it is very possible.

I didn't read all of the responses as carefully as I should have so this may have already been said, but you may have implatation bleeding, which is just light spotty bleeding.

I didnt get it heavy ata ll yet, just thought I will get it full blown tomorrow.
I will have to keep my fingers crossed.
I didnt get cramps, because I usually do.
