Did anyone start (and finish) all their holiday shopping today (Fri.)?

If you did.. you got my respect.
I always say I'll start early.. then around 10 days before Christamas.. I'm going crazy.

No shopping today for me! I went to the DMV and was there for 2 hours

I walked into the DMV in Amityville -- took one look around and walked back out.
OMG what a madhouse. Good for you - you stuck it out Julz. I didn't have the patience!

I did!!!
I usually never go shopping on black friday but i've been stuck in my house for like a week and needed to get out!! Its cold out but at least its sunny!!!!

Anyway I got off easy this year.. since the wedding is so close we told everyone only the kids are getting gifts this year.. usually I have like 25 people to buy for but this year only 4. And im all done!

Yes, but I cheated. All of our aunts, uncles, and cousins are getting framed 8x10s of the family photo from our wedding and a wedding DVD.

Our moms are getting framed 11x14s.

My brother, cousin, and best friend are getting albums full of photos and a framed 4x6 of us together.

After the wedding, we were left BROKE! I am sure they'll all understand. And, they've all been asking for photos, so here comes! Also, I always get ornaments and tie them to the tops of wrapped gifts, so I selected a bunch of pretty ornaments for all of the women.

edited to add: my niece and nephew are getting checks in their cards. A couple years ago, my 14 year old nephew told me that he's too old for stuffed animals. Hey, who knew!

i started my shopping today, and am actually going again with fh when he gets home at 6. i doubt i'll finish everyone today though.

I started and all I need is my dad (getting a bottle of vodka), my grandma (getting a VHS tape or a GC to the movies) and DH mom which I mightt go in halvsies for a rotisserie and DH XM radio which I think I am getting in NY because my brother works at Circuit City

I got all 6 of my nieces and nephews out of the way today. It feels so good. I normally don't start until XMas Eve. Now I just have to buy presents for my parents and DH's parents and I'm done!

my neices are done but they are so cute and fun to shop for.

I also got my sisters each one thing but need some more small gifts to go with them and my daddy one small thing. My list is out of control this year. I have way too many people to buy for and not enough money to buy with

I DID! And I woke up late..lol..If you consider 6:45 late! Honestly there was not one line in any store I went into untill later in the day when I went back out with FH...We saved about $600
Since our wedding is 9 weeks after Christmas, we are having a VERY small Christmas, but Im so happy I got up and went because saved enough to get everyone a little something!

We stopped at Kohl's too and left...IT was the only store with a line. Even Target we were in and out, all the mall stores were not bad, ...weird they didnt even have that much on sale for the lines to be so big!

i did alot of shopping on friday but i am still finished i did manage to get great deals at toysrus and finished most of the kids i have to buy for

what kohls did you go to we went there about 8am or so and there was a full lot but no lines i was very shocked. this is the one in jericho and i work right over there so we parked in my lot at work
