Did Anyones FH not let them....

See their tux??? Fh and I are looking for places to get a tuxedo and then he says to me 'I dont want you coming because I want you to be surprised... you didnt let me see your dress... so you cant see what Im going to pick out' Ummmmm this is sweet and freaks me out at the same time .... Anyone else go through this?

If I were you, I would make sure he clears it with your MOH or mom or someone, just to make sure he doesn't go too crazy!

I swear he is doing this because I am going to freak out lol He goes... what do you think Im going to wear something crazy?? Im like noooo I just dont want it to look like a circus, I want it to be elegant ... Ughhhhhhh

FH thinks he is suposed to wear the same thing as the groomsmen i told him that is why you can't go alone

He did say that... pretty much exactly. Then i convinced him that he has to match the BMs, etc and that he would obviously have a say. :) we picked out tuxes last week...

He doesn't mind seeing my dress and we went together when he picked out the tuxes.

He looked great, too.

No reputable place is going to let him go nuts and get ruffles, so don't worry. Let him have his fun!

Given the bit of a control freak FH is, I'm surprised he hasn't pulled that on me! But he is putting up a fight as to the colors of the vests, so he's being annoying in that respect.

Luckily FH knows me well enough to know that I need to at least be consulted. He went the first time with his mom to look at colors and fabrics. But when he was going to officially make the choices he had me come along and put my two cents in. I've been helping to dress him for 10 years, why stop now?!

I then said that he needs to match my BMs and he said 'You didnt consult with me when you picked out your colors' Oh mann...

What colors would go with taupe and champagne BM dresses?

your GM should match the BM

The groom should match you so if you are wearing white or ivory he should wear that color vest

I went with my FH which was a good thing because I have an ivory dress and he was insisting on WHITE. Thank god the girl that worked there talked to him about the pictures. He was so mad at me that I wasn't wearing white. I kept calling him a groomzilla.

OMG trust me girls, I am normally in charge of everything and I must admit, FH has agreed to EVERYTHING I have wanted for our wedding. He has nodded his head and gone along with every decision I wanted and has said 'Whatever she wants is what we will get.' So now, it seems like maybe I should just butt out....

at the end of the day- he knows I'll kill him if he shows up in clown colors
