Did everyone buy & send their NY Cares Secret Santa gifts?

I brought mine to the UPS Store on Saturday.

I had two - a child (this was the woman's shoe size NINE child) who wanted sneakers (I bought her two pairs of Skechers) and a teenager who wanted an Old Navy GC (on the note she had written 'for $100' and I think they made her cross it out ... I thought it was cute and also got her a fleece bag).

I tried to wrap them really cool too. I really hope it makes these kids' day!

Yes. I figure it may be the only thing she gets ...

wow. that was very nice of you.
where did you find out about this program? i took some names from a salvation army christmas tree that's set up in my bank...i have to pick something up and bring it back to the bank.

I feel lucky with the two I got ... the girl who wanted the sneakers drew a picture which I just thought was really cute and the older girl used little hearts to dot her 'i''s ... and both their requests were EASY ... made me feel very JOLLY
