Is that because of the expense or that you know someone? I was aking becasue I now alterations are capped at 295 where I want to get mine and then another 100-200 for the bustle. So I have the number of 2 ladies that have done work for people I know and was figuring out which route I should go.

I would ask the people you know outside of the salon how much they would charge...in general. Then I would ask what they charge per point for your bustle.
I have never really heard of a bustle being between X and X amount of dollars-maybe this is just an average![]()
Most salons charge X amount of dollars per point (hook/button) and this depends on how long your train is

I don't think I am....I am a little leary about the shop I got my dress at. They have been great up until point, but I also don't want to pay 500 for alterations! I am in the middle of researching good bridal taylors.
