Mine did...he actually went to their house three times...they were either working late or one of them wasn't home...he finally got them

Yes he did. FH never gets nervous or intimidated - but was apparently rediculously nervous when he asked my parents. And he asked them a month before he proposed. My Mom was kinda avoiding me for that month too because she was afraid she would tell me he was going to propose!!

yep he did i was with him all day by my house then i drove him home cuz i had dinner reservations with friends. he took the bus back to my house and showed up on my steps with a box of pastries...my mom opened the door and was like chris isnt here and he said I know i have to talk with you and my mom later told me she was like 'OH god I know why he is here' but she is soo evil she let him sweat it out till my dad got there a half hour later

the funny part is while I was at dinner I just kept telling my friends how it wasnt ever happening...boy did I look like an @ss!!

yea he asked them, not sure when but he went over one night probably when i was at school. my parents were crying and everything lol

FH did ask my dad because I am the only girl in my family and FH knew that my father always dreamt of the day when this would all happen. Plus my father is an old school Italian and would have killed FH if he didn't

nope, he didn't ask them. however i think he may have mentioned it to my brother in the past. but when he proposed the only person who knew was his mom. to be honest i liked it that no one knew before me.

My FH asked my dad... on the way back from Home depot. He sat in the back seat of the SUV with some ply wood as my dad drove. He asked him... and my dad is like 'Are you sure?' which so typical of my daddy. But I told FH that if he didn't ask, it wouldn't be right. My daddy loves my FH, so I think he was really honored by the whole thing.
