I didn't bother asking him until I got it down to two choices. He made the final decision so now he can't complain that I'm being too bossy.

I showed him the one I liked and he agreed on them.....I tried to get him more involved, but I dont think that he cared that much about invitations....

It was his job to do the invites. The looked great in the end, but it was struggle, struggle, struggle the whole time. my DH is such a girl sometimes. I was living in the US, he was living in the UK...and he orders them from CANADA!! Was there seriously any need to involve yet another country???

DH sat with me EVERY time we went to look at invitations. Yes, he helped me out a lot... hey, it was his wedding too

That is exactly the technique I use with my students when I want them to exercise 'independent thinking skills'. We give them a choice between two things so they feel 'all grown up' having made 'big boy' decisions. I have found that most guys really don't want to be bothered by the smaller aesthetic things. They like to be active in choosing halls and music. At least thats what FH told me.

I narrowed it down to 6 and he picked the one he liked the best.

FH did not care....I did call from the invitation appointment to find out how he wanted his name listed.

Yes, he did. We only went to one vendor and picked it out after a bit of deciding. He keeps saying that he chose it, but he really only helped pick the font

that is the one thing FH left entirely up to me. I kept asking his opinion, but he was not at all interested.... which was great since I wanted something a little different. It was nice to be able to pick something out all on my own
