since we were still sitting down exchanging gifts after eaiting dinner, he put the box on the table while giving his speech and then he stood up, approached to me and got down on one knee ahhh my heart still smiles when I think of it

yes he did but he almost fell because he proposed on the beach and kneeled on a shell that was under the picnic blanket. I yelled at him prior to him getting down one knee accusing him of ruining someones picnic. I also called him a liar when he pulled out the ring and asked me to be his birthday present and marry him

I did it the best. I had a halloween party, a projector and an outdoor 14 foot blow up screen. had about 50 friends over and put on the movie. I green screened myself into the movie and infront of everyone(no one knew i proposed.) watch it!
About 7 minutes into the best movie ever(The Monster Squad watch the magic happen )

nope, he just held the ring out and kind of looked at me all panicked, lol.
he was so nervous he forgot to get down on one knee and forgot to ask me to marry him. just stood there, staring at me, holding the ring box ,lol

OMG! I knew we would be in the minority... mine didn't!!!! We were at a restaurant (where our first date was) and we were sitting in a bench.. he was too embarrassed to get down on one knee I think. His face was bright red and he was nervous the whole time. I always give him a hard time about it.. and I can't wait till we are taking pictures on our wedding day because I am going to make him get down on one knee and pretend he's proposing for a pic!
