Did I do my Invitations Wrong

Hi Everybody, I sent my invitations out a few days ago and I have already heard from a few people how nice they are and what a great job I did on them. Now hear's the problem.... I did not include my FH parents on the invite, and now everyone wants to know why. First of all I did my invitations to be very elegant and 'traditional'. The way I see it, (traditionally) the invitations are sent from my parents (the brides parents) inviting people to the wedding of their daughter. I guess instead of saying FH's name I should have said FH's name son of Mr & Mrs yada yada.
Did anyone else not include the grooms parents.
I feel so bad now, I feel like I look like a huge
B*&%$, that wasn't my intention, I just wanted traditional & elegant.....

Scott and I are paying for our wedding- minus the dress and harpist- so our invites are wording

But if my parents had paid I would have issued the invite from them. My FH's parents names would not be on the invite since they are not 'hosting' the affair. If they were paying 50% I am sure I would have included their names.

It is a personal decision that each couple should make.
