So I went to bridal reflections today in Carle Place (totally recommend it, I worked with Allie and the manager, Bobbi- they were fantastic) and this was the first time I was looking at dresses. Well I tried 4 on, and the 4th one was it- it was exactly what I wanted once we added an embellished belt and cap sleeves. I'm super excited about it and I literally couldnt find anything wrong with it- but now that its a couple hours later, reality is starting to sink in...did I not look at enough styles? Maybe I should have visited other stores and shopped around for better prices at least? I dont know. I knew what I had envisioned for my dress and we basically made this paloma blanca dress into my vision. did anyone else find their dress quickly? any regrets? or am I being paranoid??

Some ppl just know what they like. I found mine quickly too and feared I wouldn't like it when it came in but I still love it.

I was thinking the same thing but then again I had no idea what I wanted. I ended up getting something totally different than I liked the first time when I went again. If you know what you want youll love it no matter what. Dont worry!

I had no idea what style I wanted and I did not try on many dresses my first attempt (4-5), the last dress I tried was so beautiful though! I went to another place, tried only 3-4 more but went with the dress from the first location. I love it and I'm super happy!! Sometimes it's quality over quantity!

I don't think so! If you love the dress then get it!!!! If it makes you feel better I'm getting married 12/6/14 and ordered mine in nov 2012 !

I think sometimes when you know, you just know! I found my dress pretty quickly too. I went shopping one weekend--David's Bridal Friday night, Bridal Reflections Massapequa Saturday afternoon. At Bridal Reflections I tried on 6 or 7 dresses. 'My' dress was halfway through, but when I was done I wanted to put it on again, and I knew it was the one for me.
I think a good consultant can figure out what you want (even if you're not sure lol) and help you narrow things down fairly quickly.

My dress was the 4 th one I put on.. I didn't buy it right away and went o 2 other stores... But I went back an bought the fourth dress... It is possible!

I went to a David's Bridal and tried on a few dresses in October. Then I went to Bridal Suite of Bay Shore in December and my dress was the first one I put on that day. I still went to a few other salons to make sure that nothing else wowed me, but at the end of the day I called Bridal Suite and put down my deposit.
Maybe it was too fast, but out of all of the dresses I tried on that day, I compared everything to that first dress and nothing was even close. I say if you know that you love something, go for it!

I bought my dress attar first store I went to, and then kind of regretted not looking more but I love my dress and I think I was just regretting that the experience was over. There are millions if beautiful dresses out there, I went for my second fitting yesterday and couldn't help but look through the racks.. My advice is go with your gut and stop looking once you find it...there is def a reason that you said yes to this particular dress don't drive yourself crazy thinking what if.

I got my dress really fast and I'm still not sure. I'm going to see it in June so I'll see how I feel by then. also I'm on a strict diet and hoping to be much skinnier by then so who knows I might need to go look again I also saw a dress I really love and want to eventually try on when I'm skinnier. just to see what I think.
I also think missing out on tons of shopping/looking around sucks it's like it's over. even though I was engaged and did it years ago I still feel like I missed out. I only went to David's bridal. I drive by bridal reflections actually a lot in Carle place it's right by my house and I never got to go there. anytime I see it I'm like aww.
just see how you feel after some time passes. if you love it you'll love it when you see it and put it on again. if not then you'll have your answer.

I went to 3 bridal shops. I fell in love with the 5th dress I tried on at the first bridal shop. Even though I looked at other places after I fell in love with my dress, I still went back to the first bridal shop and purchased that 5th dress I tried on. Some people just find their dresses quicker than others.

I would definitely try one more place before you make a decision but it you keep thinking about dress #4 then it's definitely the one :)

the very first dress i tried on was IT! i didn't believe it because i thought it was too soon so i tried on about 50 more dresses over the course of 2 months. ended up with the first dress i tried on. i knew the entire time that was the dress i just convinced myself it was too fast lol. when you know you just know!!

Mine was the second dress I tried on. I tried on the rest that had been pulled for me but was getting impatient and wanted to put back on my dress. Plus, I cried (not a big crier). lol
