My MOH asked me for a list of people for the bachelorette party and so I made one. It has 75 people on it.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW: It is on Dec 28th and I think a lot of people are going to be gone for the holidays so I doubt that everyone will come. Also, we are just doing a big bar night so I figured the more the merrier....
Now, one of my BM's thinks that there will be too many people there.... However, my question is: Too many people for what?? To sit around and drink in a bar?
Opinions?

Re: Did I go overboard....???
i guess it depends on what type of bachelorette party youre having..if youre having something with strippers i would think 75 is too much, if youre having it in a small bar its also too much.......depends on what type of party youre having..ive never heard of a bachelorette party being that many people though, but if thats your list, then thats your list.

It's whatever works for you!!! If you want that many people to come - than more power to ya darlin!!!!
Mine's on the 13th of November for that exact reason... I only have a small group of friends coming...so I wanted to be sure they could all be there!

If you're doing at night at a bar, its totally fine. Its not like you're inviting that many people to someone's house!

I guess it's unusual but, if you have that many people who want to celebrate with you..why not?!?

Re: Did I go overboard....???
if you're just going out and drinking, real casual, then yeah, who cares. but mind you, how much time will you really get to spend with everyone... hopefully you can just enjoy yourself and not worry about who feels neglected, etc.

i think that if it's just going to be at a bar and 'hanging' out that's perfectly fine to have all those people, it would be different if it were a different type of party, but i agree the more the merrier!

Re: Did I go overboard....???
ok first of all i am so worried that i am not going to get six people to come to the spa for my bachelorette party
if you were trying to PLAN something that involved: tickets, limos, reservations than i would definitely say that it is too much
but if its like 'hey meet me at this bar at this time' i think it will be fine
wow - you must be a nice person! i don't even LIKE that many people in the whole WORLD!

Wow, you have a lot of friends. I don't think it is too much if you are just meeting somewhere. I think it would be if your BP was expected to pay for them though.
Maybe just do a few people out to dinner and then meet everyone after to party

Re: Did I go overboard....???
depends on what youre doing
i'll be very honest with you bc of past experiences...whenever ive gone to clubs/bars with a big group it becomes a disaster and i always say how much better it is with less people. Heres why, even if you walk to the other side of the club you have to sit there and say ok everyone lets motivate to the other side and wait for everybody and then this one wants to do this, or stay there, or go here and you're trying to make everyone happy which is hard with so many people. And trying to get around a club with that many ppl is hard lol. Instead of just dancing and have fun it becomes more about ok where is this one, making sure people are ok and having fun and trying to talk to everyone and give everyone time.
If you go to a bar or club i really suggest reserving tables, theres enough of you to pitch in money for the bottles you have to buy in order to get tables.

Re: Did I go overboard....???
That is fine if its just a big bar night like you said. If they want to do something else, they should ask for a more refined list.

Re: Did I go overboard....???
For me, 75 is 5x more people than I'm inviting... but that's me. If you want a huge bash, then go for it.

Re: Did I go overboard....???
Wow thats alot! I don't think i've ever had that many female friends! I will be lucky if I have 10! IF that's the amount of people you want to invite than you should invite them. Like you said, it is close to the holidays and some might not be available

I agree. 75 people in a really cool bar sounds like a great time. Can I come too?
