My MOH asked me for a list of people for the bachelorette party and so I made one. It has 75 people on it.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW: It is on Dec 28th and I think a lot of people are going to be gone for the holidays so I doubt that everyone will come. Also, we are just doing a big bar night so I figured the more the merrier....
Now, one of my BM's thinks that there will be too many people there.... However, my question is: Too many people for what?? To sit around and drink in a bar?
Opinions?

depends on what youre doing
i'll be very honest with you bc of past experiences...whenever ive gone to clubs/bars with a big group it becomes a disaster and i always say how much better it is with less people. Heres why, even if you walk to the other side of the club you have to sit there and say ok everyone lets motivate to the other side and wait for everybody and then this one wants to do this, or stay there, or go here and you're trying to make everyone happy which is hard with so many people. And trying to get around a club with that many ppl is hard lol. Instead of just dancing and have fun it becomes more about ok where is this one, making sure people are ok and having fun and trying to talk to everyone and give everyone time.
If you go to a bar or club i really suggest reserving tables, theres enough of you to pitch in money for the bottles you have to buy in order to get tables.
i feel the same way as denise.. and i also have to say i am with tilde- i dont even like 75 people!! hahahaha but whatever you do im sure it will be a fun time!! i personally like smaller groups though, JMO

I just graduated from school so they are some of my sorority sisters that I lived with for 4 years
If they are a lot of your sority sisters, then the mom the merrier. And like you said everyone might not come. But if they do the better.

I am also all for what ever makes the bride (you, of course) happy. IMO, the BP is going to be for my few really close friends. The girls I grew up with and seriously the 10 of them I could not imagine my life without. But again, that's just my feelings on what my BP should be. It's your party!!

Re: Did I go overboard....???
75 people is a lot if the bridal party is expected to pay for everyone. If you are all just going to a bar and hanging out, and everyone is paying their own way, it's fine. I would still call ahead and make some sort of arrangment or reservation with the bar, so that they can section off a portion of the bar for your party. Otherwise it gets too hectic. You want it to be special. Most places, with enough notice, will give you your own waiters and set up a place for your party to PARTY! Have fun!

yeah i dont even think i like 75 ppl...when i was younger maybe, we all used to hang out with so many different groups, as my friends and I got older it all changed lol.
I dont want her to think its a bad idea, i mean it can work but you REALLY have to find a place where it can accomodate such a big group and all of you actually stand together...Even when i go to clubs with a small group of even lets say 4 ppl, its so hard for us to even walk through the crowd or be able to stand together and dance we constantly have to move aside, i have trouble finding room just for myself at most places to have room to dance. And then even walking through a crowd gets hard. My suggestion is to reserve a couple of tables in the vip section...2 weeks ago we went out for a friends birthday and he invited tons of people, he had reserved this vip section which was a decent size and we all hung out in that section so it was great

Re: Did I go overboard....???
I invited about 60 people to my BP and there's roughly 38 (give or take) who are going. We're actually going away for the weekend so my MOH rented a greyhound bus and we're all jumping aboard.
As long as you want them there....Go for it

my list is about the same too. I think that its not a problem. You are going out to have fun...who cares if you invited 147565686761 people! HAHAHHA
Now what I am planning to do is either A) go to miami with just my bridesmaids B) go out into the city for all my friends. C) go to a spa with my mother my mil and my BM's
