Did most of you girls buy

something for FH to give before the wedding? If so what? I have no idea, should I get a nice watch maybe???

Bottle of his favorite whiskey, nice snifter glasses to pour them into (enough for all the GM) and cigars.

No we agreed no gifts. We are paying for the wedding ourselves so it would just be another expense.

Besides...I am his gift!!!!!

I am doing B-pics for him, but I will prob get him something else, too, maybe cufflinks or an old fashioned pocket watch.

I got him skull and crossbones cufflinks from England and I got him new sunglasses for the HM.

I had a box for DH to open the morning of the wedding I put it out before I went to get ready...he forgot to open it lmao.....The kids had made him a now your an offical step dad certificate and I had it framed...he also got his HD / Blu ray player which is wonderful not that HD is on its way out lol

I'm giving him my boudior pictures in a book, i got him a watch from Tiffany's and I may get him cufflinks from Tiffany's.

LOL...us too!! We agreed no gifts since we are on our own. I really wanted to buy him a watch after we got engaged since he loves them so much but we are saving all our money. I am thinking I may still get one after the wedding.

I acutally bought him a new yamikah (kippah) to wear for our wedding ceremony.

I also bought him (going with Jewish tradition) a new prayer shawl (talis) but he didn't need it for the ceremony it's only for when we go to temple.

He didn't go with Jewish tradition (which would to buy me shabbos candlesticks... instead he bought me a 40' LCD HDTV (Flat screen) and a new TV stand for it.

Go figure I get the better end of the deal on that one but he hogs 'my' TV all the time.

I was thinking of buying him cufflinks but he decided way before that he was going to wear his grandfathers cufflinks.
