Did (or does) Anyone have a TON of stuff to bring to hall for reception?

Did (or does) Anyone have a TON of stuff to bring to hall for reception?

I was thinking about this today. I literally have like 3 HUGE boxes of stuff to drop off. Is this normal? Will they look at me like Im nuts?
We are doing votive candle CP's and place cards holders so I have like 400 votive holders...lol...and pictures, bathroom baskets etc?
Are they gonna think Im moving in?

AND...will they think Im crazy if I attach pictures of how to set stuff up? Im so nervous about that?

ETS- I actually have MORE then that. a case of bottled water and flowers to decorate...make that like 5 very large boxes...

Ok-- first I was going to write you- are you crazy that your wedding is 5 months away and you have all this stuff.. Then I remembered the 3 boxes I have in my closet-

cocktail napkins
bathroom guest towels
yarmulkes
placecards

And, I have not even got stuff for the ceremony, bathrooms, etc yet..

So, yes to answer your question- you are normal. Or, at least you are a normal bride.

I didn't attach pics but made very detailed lists and put post it notes on things - I think pictures are a great idea!

I had alot. I also forgot the basket with the hand fans and made Dale go home and get them. Thank goodness Villa's was 5 minutes away.

We have a ton of boxes and baskets. Slippers, Bathroom baskets, favors, candles, family photos. I am just putting a list of instructions along w/ our name and date on the boxes. I am not going to put pics, since John from FM is setting up all his and my decorations for us.

I had MANY boxes, complete with set up instructions and pictures! If my hall thought I was crazy, honestly, I didn't care, b/c I wanted it all set up the right way.

Oh please, it seems everytime I go anywhere I am hauling at least three bags or boxes. I'm a school teacher and I'm always bringing stuff back and forth.

You are not alone... I can only speak for myself... but I am at least equally insane and proud of it.

OMG, I had about 8 boxes, 4 shopping bags and a book of very very very detailed insructions on how everything was to be placed exactly!! Don't worry, you still have 5 months to go, you'll have more stuff to bring to the hall by then!!

I am going to have to make several trips to the NRC the week of my wedding. I am doing my own c-pieces, which includes mirrors, glassbowls, and tealights.

Then I have menus, placecards, chocolate favors, bathroom basket, cameras, and Im sure more will come up as the months approach.

You're not crazy. I also had a ton of stuff. My banquet manager allowed me to bring everything the day before and we went through everything together when I brought it so that he knew what was what.

I too have sooooo much stuff. I dont know if my car can take all the weight!!! Seriously we are not finished yet and I have heavy boxes stacked!

Glad to hear other brides have a lot too!
