Nope did everything on my own online. But I'm a little bit of a control freak when it comes to planning so the thought of someone else planning our honeymoon didn't work for me, lol!!

no-- did it all myself....It was a lot less expensive (and a lot more work) but worth it for us

initially we looked at a TA, but after reviewing their itinerary, along w/ a few other quotes we received, I decided to plan our own HM. Also, I get all the same deals the TA get plus more...and I earn travel points...so It's been working out. We have half our HM booked. Hopefully this week, we'll pay off the rest.

we went with a TA, FH's parent TA price matches whatever's online AND discounts an extra 5% we couldnt go wrong..

Nope FH researched ever hotel on his own...he uses TripAdvisor alot.

I did all the research online, found the best price, but then called a TA to see if they'd match the price, which they did, so we booked with them.

Since we're going to Hawaii, I didn't want to book it on my own (w/ inter island flights and all that, I wanted to make sure nothing was left out). I checked the price on expedia for the hotels we're staying in, and I got a good deal. I used Dawn Dorr (she's a vendor on LIW)...she was great and extremely patient with me!! (I probably sent her about 50 e-mails!!)

We booked the hotel only throght the TA. I booked the flight myself.

Yup. We used Liberty Travel in Massapequa. There is no way I could of coordinated all of the inter-island flights in The French Polynesia on my own. I think it really depends on where you are planning on going-also, as other girls have said you can find the best price online and then see if a TA will match it-then you have the best of both.
