We haven't booked our HM yet but my FH is in touch with a TA who is helping him plan our HM.

No, we are going to Disney for a week, and then just Florida for another week, so we really didn't need a TA.

We did! We used Tom Varghese. Since we booked Jamaica during hurricane season we wanted a TA and travel insurance in case we need to cancel and rebook somewhere else.

I used Tom Varghese also. He was great. I did a ton of research on my own but couldn't make up my mind. He got us a great price to Jamaica and doesn't charge a fee. It probably would have cost the same if I had done it myself but using a TA saved me the legwork.
Nope did everything on my own online. But I'm a little bit of a control freak when it comes to planning so the thought of someone else planning our honeymoon didn't work for me, lol!!

eta: I DID price out the trip through 2 TAs - doing it myself was much cheaper (about 1k cheaper for a 3.5k trip)

We did. We used Irene at American Express Travel in Garden City. We normally book all of our vacations online ourselves, but w/ the HM and the rest of the wedding planning, plus moving, I decided I needed a professional. It was one of the best decisions I made!

We just started working with Tom Varghese. He seems amazing so far. I am really excited to see what he comes up with. I am usually a complete control freak but I don't think I have the time or mental capacity to take on planning the honeymoon myself. lol So Tom can do it!
