know when your FH was going to propose to you? I had no idea when he was going to do it. It was actually a surprise engagement/engagement party.....I almost fainted!

I had some kinda of an idea, he had taken my grandmothers ring from me and was suppose to reset it for me...and he DID with my mom!! I was surprised he would think to do it on the beach in Quogue awe!

I was TOTALLY clueless. We had talked about it and looked at rings, but he said it would still be a while yet before we'd get engaged and I totally believed him, the next week he proposed. This was last October We are coming up on our one year engagement anniversary

I HAD NO CLUE!!! HE TOTALLY SURPRISED ME. SAT NIGHT JUNE 10, 06. WE JUST GOT HOME FROM A FEAST AND I WAS IN MY PJ'S FOLDING CLOTHES. HE HAD ASKED MY FATHER EARLIER THAT DAY AND BC MY DAD WAS SO EXCITED, MY FH KNEW HE COULDNT WAIT UNTIL HE WANTED (MIDDLE JULY)
HE PUT IT IN THE FREEZER. HE ASKED ME TO GET HIM A DRINK AND THEN TO PUT 'ICE' IN IT. WHEN I OPENED THE FREEZER.....THERE IT WAS!!!!

I knew he had the ring (i gave his dad the money from our bank to get it lol) so i thought h was going to do it that saturday but he fell asleep so i thought he would do it the following sat. but he did it at his sisters bridal shower she was totally cool w/it she was really excited. And i was sooo surprised

I thought he was going to do it on our 5 year anniversary.... then by the time we hit 7 years I got fed up!!!! He finally proposed when we were dating 7 years and 3 months... I WAS surprised but not completly SHOCKED bc It was soooo long we dated for.. it was bound to happen!

I was COMPLETELY Surprised! We were Upstate NY with friends at a local restaurant...after we finished dinner he moved his chair to the side and got on one knee- I thought he was picking up a napkin or a fork...but instead he presented me with my beautiful engagement ring...I almost passed out! I asked him if this was 'for real' and put the ring on the table because I was in shock. My friends had to prompt me for an answer, not because I had to think about it, but because I couldn't believe my eyes! I said 'of course' of course...he still laughs about the fact that I never really said 'yes' tee-hee! Have a great day ladies...

I had a feeling....we got engaged on our 1000 day dating.....starting with our 100th day dating he always did something.....so once I knew the 1000th day was approaching..it had to be something big!! He was acting very weird that day and I knew something was up.
We went to the South Street Seaport for dinner and then he suggested a horse and carriage ride around Central Park and that's when he popped the question!
