At my fitting yesterday and at every one so far (even try ons) they put the dress over my head. I do not want to mess up my hair on the day of...so I'm curious..did you step into your dress? Is it impossible w/the crinoline?

i stepped into it. my seamstress told me i HAVE to step into it or i may mess up my hair/makeup. she showed me how to step into it properly and made sure to show my sister (MOH) how to 'dig the hole' so that i dont mess up the dress when i step in.

I stepped into the dress too. I placed the crinoline under the dress and stepped into that and then secured it on my waist. Then we buttoned the dress up! You definitely need help getting dressed. My MOH and Mom helped me.

Every time I try on the my dress (fittings and the sample) I stepped into it. I think its easier to fix the crinoline than have to worry about messing up the hair or getting makeup on the dress

over the head for me.. but I got dressed in the middle of my living room with all my Bm's helping (I kept a lil tank on and took it off after I was in the dress.

Being that I just had my wedding a few weeks ago, on all my fittings they put my dress over my head, but on the day of my wedding...I just stepped into it. It wasn't the easiest especially with the crinoline but with the help of my mother we got it on fine.

I was really worried I would have to put it on over my head...because that would really be a mess!! As it is, I'm hoping I didn't get it dirty already. I'll see next week when I go back again for Part 2 of my 2nd fitting lol
