Did you and FH make a pact?! RE: Response Envelopes..

We have made a pact! We have pinky swore and hand pounded on this ( ) that we will get the mail every day (after the invites are out) and save the RSVP envelopes to open TOGETHER.. EVERY time there is a response card in the mail..

1st problem I have with this is that I am always home first .. and 2nd problem - we were going to send them out 1/15... BUTTTTT FH is going on his bach party on 1/17 and 1/18 (early for reasons).. and I know I will go batty if there are some sitting there on Saturday the 17th.. so we moved it back one week ..

Are you guys doing the same type of thing? I think its going to be so exciting once the responses start coming in the mail!

Nope haha...

First off we don't live together. Second off, he probably could give two toots less. Third...if I underhandedly NOT invite the children, I want to keep the responses on the DL

That's cute, but as of now FH most likely doesn't care. I'm sure once responses from his side starting coming in, he'll be more excited.

Unfortunately for me, FH doesn't give a rats behind about responses, also we don't live together so I'll take care of all the response cards myself

no - we just left them on the counter for the other to see, whoever opened it first, then we always discussed it. Then we just added the yes or no to our response list.

Nope, whoever gets the mail in can open the RSVP's... maybe it will give FH some motivation to take the mail in, lol

No. He really wouldn't care. He makes me open all of our christmas cards and anything addressed to the two of us.

Ours are going to my mom's. She fought long and hard with my sister about it and she has so few pleasures that really make her happy. Plus they're paying for the bulk of teh wedding. So she'll email us both updates once a week.
