I didn't have a swatch. My dress was also off white. I don't remember if the veil was considered off white or ivory, but either way it was fine.
Nope, I just chose light ivory since it seemed closest to my dress color.
nope!
No I'm not going to bring one.
i am just bring a picture of my dress
I brought a swatch when I ordered my veil. I got my veil from Barron's and they have multiple different 'off-white' colors to choose from, so I wanted to make sure my dress and veil color were as close as possible.
I got my veil from Barrons also and my dress is light ivory. I didn't have a swatch of my dress b/c I couldnt get one by the time I ordered the veil. But I did show him a picture of my dress and said it was a light ivory. Although I was nervous about it matching, it looked perfect!!! I think you'll be fine
no, because I ordered mine online. what I did was, at my first fitting, I tried on a couple of ivory veils and I noticed that they all looked white to me because the material is so thin (I am doing a 1 layer veil), so I ordered a dark ivory veil and I was very happy with it when it came in.
i ordered my veil from the same store that i ordered my dress from. it was actually made for my dress because the trim is in champagne the same color as the sash on my dress.
thanks ladies- this helps!
I didn't - From the pic the girl said it looked like diamond white. I told her it was ivory but she insisted it was such a light ivory that diamond white veil would work. Well it came in and it looked stark white compared to my gown and made my gown look yellow. Needless to say she had to make me a new one...in light ivory. I say get a swatch!
