i cried cuz i thought he was playing a REALLY MEAN JOKE on me and i started to yell at him and tell him that 'this is not a funny joke nick' and then i asked him if it was a real diamond cuz if it wasnt that was even meaner...![]()

I was actually surprised at just how emotional I became when he was proposing! I was shaking and crying and we held each other for a long while afterwards.

i cried, but not initially because i was shocked. but like 3 minutes later i was crying. i am a very emotional person. i am tearing up just thinking about it now!![]()

I didn't cry. I was in so much shock though that I literally ran out of my mother's house when I went in and saw a crowd of friends and family.

I laughed too, cause I thought he was joking like always--we would always ask each other to get married. Then when I realized he meant it and pulled out the box, I freaked and burst into tears.

i always thought my reaction would be very emotional with lots of tears but i didnt really cry when it happened....i was shocked, excited, and i felt like i was in a dream.....i was really really shocked! i just wanted to hug FH and never let him go.....i just remember hugging him for so long.....then after i saw the ring i had to sit on the floor! ![]()

I did, it was due to being emotional over the engagement itself, but also from being in complete shock...I truly had no idea that it would be happening when it did and I was so caught off guard..in a very good way![]()

I'm overly emotional, but didn't cry at the initial proposal. It was a half hour later when we pulled out the calander and he said 8/8/08 was our date that I cried!!!!!
