At first I think I was in shock even though I had an idea it was coming. Then, after a couple minutes I guess it finally hit me and i teared a bit. We were out to dinner and didn't want to go full out bawling lol

I cried for 4 hours straight and for days after! I was so shocked that he proposed and how much thought he put into it. I lost 8 lbs in 2 weeks cause i couldnt eat or sleep for days after we got engaged. For our one year e-anniversary this year, he took me back where we got engaged and got down on one knee again and said 'Lin, will you still marry me?' Needless to say i cried again

Edit: what really got me is that when he got down on his knee after saying the most beautiful words i've ever heard, and said 'Lin will you marry me?' He was tearing up and thats when i lost it My big sports guy with 13 tattoos teared up!!!!!

I didnt cry, I think I was too happy and excited to cry. Instead i looked at him and said 'are you ******* serious??'

I was in complete shock!! Even though his speech lasted 20 minutes ... but then he called my ring my 'pre-engagement' ring because he knows I want to design my own ring..so then I was confused like wait are we only 'pre-engaged'?? I never heard of it before lolz but I didn't want to ruin the moment by asking.. We were on a cruise and planned to meet up with my mother so we went to meet her (she already knew he was asking) and just by how happy she got and all the congrats she gave lolz I knew it was the real thing...he thinks its funny how I thought I was only pre-engaged lolz...I was in heaven for days!!! Still am when I think of it!

I didn't cry I was staring at him and in complete shock. He later told me that he was surprised at my reaction. I think he expected me to cry.

he proposed when we were snorkeling, so me not being a strong swimmer.. almost drowned (seriously) I had to get back on the boat FAST So there were no tears...
