did you do anything special to ask kids to be in your wedding?

Original post by christine2010

i am going to be asking my flower girls & ring boy soon. i purchased a picture frame with 3 spots. the top will be for a picture of me & them, then the middle a saying, then the third will be left for a picture from the wedding.

i have no idea what kind of saying to put in for the girls & boy.

does anyone have any ideas??
TIA

Nope, didn't get the chance...she basically informed me that she was going to be the flower girl.

I would be annoyed too...thankfully I haven't heard anything like this from FSD...she will be our flower girl though.

I was thinking of just sitting down with her and telling her how important she is to me and how the perfect way to start our new life together is to have her as a part of the wedding and walking down the aisle right before me. Its a different situation though I guess.

I filled clear cellophane bags with candy and made tags that said their names on one side and 'Will you be our...?' on the other. The kids loved them.

I wanted to post a picture of the candy bags. Does anyone know how to do this? When I try it says it's too big (I think).

I also did the book thing. It was small and it gave them an understanding of what their roles are going to be.

I just asked my nephews this weekend @ my engagement party to be my Ringbearers
I gave them a card that said 'will you be my ringbearer?' In which two of them said yes, and one said no. haha.
I also gave them a bag of easter candy since its so close to the holiday right now.
