Did you ever get a gift from you significant other that you just wanted to puke on...

DH bought me a TOASTER a couple of years ago for my birthday
When we were dating he got me a bra for my car which I didn't ask for
And this year he gave me money for my birthday so I could pick out my own gifts. Gee thanks! At least he went with me to the mall though......

This was 1994. I was in a dance clas & we were using one of his songs fora show. I thought it was kinda of cool. Differet than the usual classical music. So I had a tape I listened to, which I always did before shows & I guess he just thought I liked Yani more that I really did.

After the show,( which was abtou a month after my birthday) I really had no interest in it.

He also tried to get tickets to see him at Jones Beach. . .boy am I glad that didn't work out!

FH bought me a rice cooker for my birthday. i have no idea why.. i guess he doesn't realize i use instant rice and just stick it into a pot for like 5 minutes.

i feel bad that i haven't used it i just have no need for it.. and i have NO idea why he got it for me.. finally i just took it out of the box so it looks like its been used.

The blue pocketbook dude bought me tickets to Yanni at Radio City that year. The show was really very good but I haven't been interested since. Tell me about men taking the wrong cues for gifts!

My ex gave me a stretch pair of velvet pants from Express, size XL (I am a size 6!). He said he asked the salesperson what size she was to gauge, and then felt bad buying a much smaller size than she had said!
