Did you get your hair and makeup done for engagement pictures?
I was throwing it back and forth, was thinking makeup and just getting hair blown out, but then was thinking should I do it myself. Im afraid of a bad hair day, and I am not one to really wear makeup much and when I do its very unnoticeable....

Def. get your hair done! Makeup you can do yourself and make it natural looking.

I was actually thinking about doing the opposite for me - Ill probably do my hair myself and then get my makeup done - but that's because Ill prob just go to Sephora because I need new makeup anyway :)

My e-shoot is on Monday. I decided to get my makeup done and do my hair myself (i'll just be blowing it out). Personally I rather have my hair be nice & simple and my face look flawless, lol.

I did my own hair and had my makeup done at macys at the Bobbi brown counter.

I contacted my makeup person definitely doing that.Going to have my hair blown out but nothing different then how I normally would do it,she will just make it look a bit smoother :)

I plan on doing my own makeup for the wedding, so I used the e shoot as kind of a trial run for myself to see how my makeup would look through my photographer's lens. Now I know exactly what to do the same and change, so if I were trying a makeup artist for my wedding, I would definitely want to test them out in the same way.

I got my hair & makeup done. I hardly ever wear makeup so I wanted it done professionally. Plus I wanted to get an idea of what I would like to do for the wedding.

I had just my hair done and I did my won makeup....but my lady wasn't available for the time I needed, if she had been I would are gotten both done

I did my makeup trial the morning of so that way I could see how it photographed. My hair I just wore down and did it myself.

Got my makeup done at sephora. They ask that you pay 50$ but you can use that towards products or buy a gift card. I was SO happy I did it, I felt awesome, and I wasn't sure what makeup would hold up in our hot & humid outdoor conditions.
I actually sat in front of the mirror for a minute before I washed it off that night thinking, 'nooo, I want it to stayy' lol

I was way happier with my hair and makeup than I am with the pictures! Lol. I also didn't want to take it off at night, I slept in the lashes! lol If you're good at makeup and hair yourself, then you don't need to get it done. I needed a cut and highlights anyway so figured that was the perfect time to get it done, and the makeup just made me feel super pretty and good about myself!

I got my make up done at sephora and bought $50 worth of products that I needed anyway (if you do this, bring pictures!!!!) And I also got a blow out. When I told the hairdresser I was getting my engagement pictures taken she even straightened it for free. She also put alot of heat protectant and my hair didn't frizz once in pictures. I would definitely recommend getting both done!

No I did both myself but if you are doing a trial for wedding can try to coordinate it with your engagement shoot

I wanted to do my hair but my engagement shoot was to early and ended up doing it myself. Had my makeup done with a potential makeup artist for the big day.
