Did you guys hear Flower Michele is moving?

They are moving to a new showroom in Mineola across from Jericho Terrace. I think this week or next week. Thats prob a more convenient location for you Nassau girls than going all the way to Huntington.

I drove by it the other day. I wasnt sure if he was moving or just opening a 2nd location.

they are opening two new locations and closing Huntington.

Mineola and Farmingdale. that's according to John I spoke to him yesterday

Yup - I think it's as of Oct 1.

He told me this last month when we booked them..

It's a great idea. More room to make the beautiful art we know as our centerpieces and boo-ks!!!!!!!

It was soooo far for me to drive to Huntington to meet with John. This is great! But, no one from Flower Michele told me. I hope they send a moving card or something, just to be polite.

Wow...

Then I don't have to go far...

Flowers by Brian is on Jericho Tpk, now FLower Michele is moving down the block... and Pedestals is right off of Jericho... all in the same town... its almost 1 stop shopping!

Will they be telling all of their booked weddings about this? I haven't talked to them in months...and probably need to start thinking about meeting with them again to go over some stuff....

M&LSept1606 is correct, I was just had my final meeting with John 2 weekends ago to go over the final details for my 9/30 wedding. They are opening a beautiful new showroom in Mineola and a 6000 sq.ft. warehouse in Farmingdale as well. How exciting for John I am soo happy for him!!! The projected opening date is Oct 1 (the day after my wedding). He did say that once the opening/moving he is planning on throwing a huge grand opening gala event with all the trimmings & he will be inviting all of his past, future & present brides amongst others... I can't wait.

I liked what they had to offer but at the Fox Hollow showcase they seemed to be the most $$ and the girl at the booth was mostly chatting with 2 other people that looked more like her friends. (maybe they were attending the showcase tho). I found that Pedestals gave me a better price and I like Party Sensations (saw them at a Jericho Ter showcase, the guy there is nice). Pedestals squeezed me in on an apt in a week or so b/c my wedding is in Feb and they wanted to make sure that I had plenty of time to plan. I may go with them or none of the above...FH wants CHEEP flowers!!

Flower Michele new showroom is actually Pedestals old showroom. Pedestals has moved to there own building on Herricks road. John had told me at the Jericho Terrace showcase. I found flower Michele to be quite pricey and got a much better deal from Pedestals.

If this is the case, I do not have to drive 1/2 hour to their location, I can walk!! Thats pretty cool.......

John will need the bigger spaces with the amount of work he does....

He told my fiance and I about moving and having a celebration in honor of that. I hope that the quality of their work doesn't go down. The bigger you get the less personalized service you give your brides
