I am not sure I understand your question, but since we were getting married at the hall, our rehearsal was actually an hour or so before the actual ceremony. We had our 'rehearsal' dinner the night before.

well, we had the rehearsal at the church and then drove to the restaurant for the dinner...same day-

We are having the rehearsal at the hall and then going to the dinner at the restaurant.
