I have a beautiful one year old daughter. But she won't be their. I have a bad feeling. That my nieces 9 and 11. will be there. The same niece who spoiled my baby shower one year ago. I don't think it's place for kids. But maybe some of you had children at yours.

Mine was this past weekend and we just had my 2 little flowergirls & my 2 nieces (20 months & 7 months) one is a fg also). To be honest they were the hit of the day, so sweet.
when I planned my sisters shower, we didnt invite the kids - but one her her FSIL's called me and said, well I already told Jane (her daugher) that she was invited. Was I going to be the evil lady that wouldnt let her go to the shower? No, and then we had to invite all the girls in the BP, which totaled 5. They were pretty well behaved, they ranged in ages 5-10.

there will be a couple there if I had to guess...a 2 year old and a 6 year old...they are my FG's.

I had my two flower girls there (5 and 8) and they were such a big help when it came to opening the gifts plus they were just so cute and excited to be there

My 5 year old nephew helped me open the presents, my 7 year old niece took all the cards and organized them, my 14 year old niece handled the garbage and my cousin's 11 year old daughter wrote out the list of names/presents.
If it wasn't for those kids, the whole present opening experience would have been a disaster.
I'm so glad they were there. But these are great, well behaved kids. If they were high-strung and behaving badly, it would have been a different story. And with the exception of my cousin's daughter, they're all in my wedding party too.
There were no other kids there.

They had about 4 children there but they were annoying after awhile. My mother sent them upstairs to play though. LOL

I had babies brought to mine, and grade schools at mine - it did ruin it - don't have it!!!

Yes, we had our flower girl, DH's other nieces and I think someone else brought their baby. To tell you the truth, I really didn't notice much if they were running around, it was a whirlwind day for me.

I had my four year old Daughter and my 3 other flower girls! They had a great time passing out the prizes from the games and they had fun helping me open the gifts!! But on the other note they are all very well behaved so it all depends on the kid!!! Have a great time at your Shower!!!

Yes, I had my two first cousins (ages 6 and 8) and they were adorable and it worked out very well. I was glad they came.

My future step-daughter was there, she's 9 and I couldn't have imagined the day without her. She was such a sweetheart and jumped right in with helping me open gifts. It was cute how overwhelmed she was too since they kept it a secret from her!!
My FG should've been there too, she's 3 but she's OOT. I wish she could've been there!!

The only children that were at my shower were in my Bridal Party, FSIL/JBM age 9 and grooms cousin/FG age 7. They were fine, they are not problem children to begin with, but then my brother showed up towards the end and he was a pain in the neck as usual.
