I met with my florist last weekend and there was no mention of a sample centerpiece (I didn't thinking about asking because I wasn't very happy at that point in time with some of our service and we had to go onto another appointment). Is this something you have to ask for? Thanks for your help.

Yes, I saw samples from both florists I met with before booking.

I would definitely see a sample before booking so you can make sure you're gettiing what you want.

Most florists let you know, but in the event that they forget, you should definitely ask when to expect the sample.

I saw one the day I booked them and I have to go in August for them to work on one specifically for me with my colors.

one didn't mention it- the other offered. I am going with the second one, b/c of price & service issues. So the first one may have doen it if I asked, ( but I didn't get the impression) but they didn't offer.
