Did you hear about this?

Now i havent had my pictures taken for the wedding yet....BUT, Wouldnt you notice if they were shooting pics of you while being undressed? I would right then and there tell them to stop if i really wanted NO undressed pictures. The company has every right to put up the pictures that they took on their website (thats is how we all see their portfolios right?)....as long as there is no pornographic images.
People are just so sue-happy in this country, and i'm happy the case was thrown out!

Isnt there a lawyer up here haha

I was just thinking the same...how do you not notice photos being taken while you're undressing? I guess there can be a lot going on the day of and you can get distracted...but still. I started to wonder if she was ok with the shots because she thought they'd be nice...but she didn't like the end result and they wouldn't just take them down. It's very different not liking a wedding gown pic vs. a half dressed one. Regardless, the company should have just complied with her initial request and took the pics down...they know that kinda stuff can be sensitive...just take it down and be done with it. Keep the others up.

Must suck to be her right now.

Re: Did you hear about this?

it sounds like she was more upset that the photos she DID want taken (maybe for her DH privately) were put up on the internet wuth out her consent. And I agree that I would be more mad that after i asked to have them taken down they lied to me and left them up. but then again people do crazy stuff

Re: Did you hear about this?

I guess it all depends on the contract that she signed. Photographers need to make their portfolio somehow and i dunno the legal issues behind it, but there has so be some combined ownershp of the photos.
I'm in a profession where we sued all the time for BS.....so i get pissed when i see retarded lawsuits...she i'm on the side of the photographers.

Yea, if the photog has rights to the photos they really can do anything they want with them... Sad, but true.
