did you include a quote or poem in your wedding program

we put the saying from our unity candle on the front of the program
'This day I will marry the onte i live for, laugh with, love', etc....

and then on the back of the program, we put a shakespearean sonnet which we had also designed onto a llittle card and were putting at each place setting

yup we are using a winnie the pooh poem -

I used a couple:

On the first page:

As I stand here today with world as my witness,
I pledge to you my undying and everlasting love.
I will stand beside you as your partner,
I will stand before you as your protector,
And I will stand behind you as your solace.
Please spend and end your life with me.

Last page:

In each other's hands,
We found trust and comfort
In each other's arms,
We found happiness and joy
In each other's hearts,
We found a love that will last forever

Back cover:

David and I would like to thank all of you for helping to make this day possible. We appreciate your love, kindness and dedication and we are so happy that you could share this day with us. As we celebrate, we would like to remember those who could not be with us today:

David's father, Attilio. We know he is with us in spirit.
