Did you know anyone who got married while prego?

A friend of mind is prego and shes getting married in August, I think she will be 17 weeks prego. She is freaking out, she already ordered her dress in her size. Are there any moms out there, were younoticably big at that time? OR do you know anyone who actually walked down the aisle prego? Shes happy and scared at the same time. Thanks girls

Wearing white to a wedding has nothing to do with symbolizing purity or virginity. It was a fashion statement started by (I think) Queen Victoria. White dresses were totally impractical in her time. She wore one just to show she had the money to spend on a dress she could only wear once. Since then, it became a fashion statement. At that time (and for many years to come afterwards), most women just wore the nicest dress they owned.

Please tell your friend not to worry. I was 4 months pregnant when I got married last month. Most of our friends and family already knew, but not everyone. I was horrified that I would look awkward and out of place, especially since my dress had already been ordered and it was a mermaid gown. It wasn't really noticeable during the ceremony, but it was more so for the Reception. By that time, I was too ecstatic and having too much fun to even think about it.

You can see pics in my album if you want to share them with her. In the end, it's all about you and your husband and making lasting memories of your wedding day. Tell her to live it up. Children are a blessing.

I know one brides who was....but she was cool about it., she showed in the dress!

My sister had 3 pregnant bridesmaid.! lol.,

My FH cousin got married 6 months pregnant and nobody knew. She had her dress made so that it could hide her belly. The Pastor didn't even know she was pregnant. She didn't look pregnant at all.

If it's any consolation, I know from my siblings and cousins (who all have kids) that usually moms don't show until much later with the first child. For some reason, they all tended to show a bit earlier with the second and third children... but I remember them barely showing at all until at least 5 months, more like 6, with their first.
