Our original date was 10/4 but JT didn't have the room we wanted on that date so we went with 10/12. This is my BFF's 30th bday. This same date is the day my father came to America from Italy. He says it's a sign. I had no clue when we booked lol.

yes, it's a friend's birthday. we've been friends for over 20 years. I felt awkward at first picking her birthday, but we really wanted August and every day in Aug was someone's birthday! (the weekend before is my own)
She doesn't mind, and I might give her a small corsage.

we did... i did it purposefully!! it is my great grandparents anny. i figured if they were able to be married as long as they were it was good luck

August 9, 08 is my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. When I found out that it was on a Saturday this year I asked them how they felt about us using that day as our wedding and my grandmother became ecstatic at the idea. We are going to have a cake for them to cut after ours and have their wedding song played during the cutting.

It's actually the anniversary of one of my bridesmaids! It wasn't planned that way though. I couldn't get a couple of the date I originally wanted.

We'll share an anniversary with FH' anunt and uncle, and a cousin and his wife. Didn't know that at the time... lol and FH didn't remember!

09er bargin in!!! i picked our date b/c i wanted to keep in our '2' theme that we always seem to have for anything major... and the only 2 in the summer of 09 on a weekend was in aug and it just so happens that its FH's nieces bday! (actually her batz mitzvah) so i had to clear the date with FSIL first!

After we booked, FFIL told us that July 25th (our wedding day) is the day that he proposed to FMIL.
