I just realized I purchased over 10 books and a minimum of 20 magazines. (I save my MS Weddings & Grace Ormonde's, but throw-out all others.)
I'm going to have to devote a whole book shelf to weddings!

I have a million magazines! I am obsessed with them. I subscribe to MS weddings and Modern Bride, but there is a Barnes and Noble in my building at work so I always go check out the new selection and happen to buy a few!

I had a bunch of wedding mags, one book, and one planner.
FH bought me the planner right after we got engaged. I should have known then, I'd be planning 99% of the **** thing!

I have not purchased one bridal magazine and I have been engaged for a year and a half. I felt like too many choices would really confuse me.

Re: Did you purchase a lot of books for your wedding?
I have SO many magazines and books its insane. My cousin gave me all her stuff from planning her wedding, as did one of my BMs, and I have a subscription to Brides. Now that I am less than 5 months away, and have most of the big stuff booked, I am going to have to go through and throw a lot of it away, they have taken over my house

Re: Did you purchase a lot of books for your wedding?
DH has subscribe Modern Bride to me as a gift. I'd kept all the magazine during our engagement up until our wedding day and thrown it out since then. I'd cut out all the checklists, articles, pictures, vendor ads that were useful and of interest to me and threw out the rest of the magazines. IMHO, it's taking up space in our apartment.
I have kept books and planners as keepsakes of my wedding planning. Such books I've kept was 'Diary of a Mad Bride' and The Knot Wedding Planner. I didn't really purchase a lot of books as I've utilize the internet to research any edquitte questions or help on various wedding planning topics to save money.

Re: Did you purchase a lot of books for your wedding?
I had purchased lots of magazines during my planning. My sister had gotten married the year before I did and she had plenty of books to give to me.

I bought a ton of magazines and a few books. I threw away or gave away the magazines. I think I still have the books but will try to give them away as well.
