Since FI and don't live together should we even register for bedding b/c we don't even know what size bed we'll have....it'll be either a Queen or king size, but not sure.

we did.. but only b/c we knew what size we had (we lived together beforehand)
just a little advice, bedding is quite expensive.. I suggest that you register for something now.. if it ends up being a dif size, you could always change it and just pay the dif,., it's better than shelling out the entire amount, you know?

I'm having a similar problem....FH and I live together, and we have a full bed now, but we don't want to get a new bed til after we move (after the wedding)....since we don't know how big our new bedroom will be. I decided to register for a nice set of full sheets and a full/queen cotton blanket to use for the time being.....

We did because we lived together before, but heres what I did. I registered for a King size set, we have a queen bed, but I hate a queen comforter on a queen bed. I like them bigger.
I registered for expensive bedding, one I normally wouldnt buy myself, because your probably won't buy it yourself!

I did the same as Jenn. I registered for a King Comfortor set even though we're getting a Queen bed.

I agree with Jennbaby and the others...figure out what size bed ya want and register for something nice....we picked just a comforter and its' $250!!! I would love for someone to chip in and get it because I know FH and I would never spend that $$ on it!!!

when you make up your mind on the size then just add it later! i have bedding on mine but we live together.

we didnt because we already live together and have everything, and wont be buying a house for at least a year so i have no idea how we'll want to decorate then.

People actually register for something as expensive as a bed...or did I read that wrong. A good Queen or King is like 2k.

No, not the bed, just all the bedding. You can always use a bigger comforet ona smaller bed. I have a full , but we want a quuenn eventually, but are not sure when we are moving, so we registered for queen & will just hold onto it untill we move.

We registered for bedding even though we still have no idea where we're living or the size of our bed. However, we figure that we're going to be in a little apartment at first, with no room for a king size bed, so we registered for queen size stuff. Worst comes to worst, I'll have to exchange things.

We registered for bedding because FH is really really particular about his bedding!!! And so we figured if anyone wanted to buy it for us....they would then have an idea of what we wanted. We also registered for a bigger size...thanks to the knowledgable brides on here who tipped me off to that! thanks!!
Wen we registered, we pretty much went through the stores and put down everything we thought we would want!! It's a wish list, right? We have a lot of wishes!!

we did...and my bridal party ended up getting it for us. we ordered king and ended up getting a queen bed. we got the difference back when we to fortunoff. i told my girls id give them back there share and they were like, 'no way!'

I did the same as Jenn and Marcella... got the comforter in King and the rest in Queen - queen comforter is not big enough for me and FH. So if we end up with a king bed, we'll just trade in the sheets and keep the same comforter.

I registered for my bedding b/c I know we are going to get a Queen Size bed, my mother bought us the entire set for our engagement party.
yes, we registered for king because I knew we would get a king bed

FH and I bought a King bed for him to use while he is in Grad School and then we will move it to our apartment. I'd definitely register for bedding - some people really like giving it as wedding/shower gifts.
