i booked burtons, i have been in 2 weddings where they both used burtons

I booked Burton's too. Didn't really see any samples at their store. But, just a lot of positive reviews from recent friends who have gotten married.

Yes and no... I saw photo books of his bo-ks and CPs and some arrangements for someone else's wedding that he was designing, before we booked. It all depends...a well-known florist, you might not need to see live samples because they have a reputation that precedes them before you even meet with them...but a lesser-known florist, I wouldn't book without seeing a sample or two....but that's me, I'm paranoid about these things

I saw samples before booking - I would not book without it, I like to make sure they are willing to give me what i ask for and I have an idea if its what I want (pics are great) to ensure you end up with the same thing later on

My florist made a sample CP of what I wanted before I booked with him.

GET A SAMPLE!!! I went to like 5 places and described the same thing and got 5 completely different samples! They don't charge you to make them up, so what is the down side?

I book with Burtons and I saw a sample of CPs and bouquets.

I didn't but the florist is a family friend so I would've felt funny asking her. Plus she did my sister's wedding and it came out great.

i saw a sample piece that i fell in love with I believe it was another bride's sample.

YUP! After our first meeting he created it for me and that was what made me decide to go with him!!!

No. I used Burton's and everyone raves about them. Everything was gorgeous.

I didnt see a CP but he did show me samples of actual flowers he'd be using in my arrangements which was nice. I booked w/ them. Most places i found didn't show you the CP before you signed, except one place i went to did a sample CP before you signed.... but i didn't go w them because they were more expensive

I just saw pictures of her work. She had some displays for her own shop in the window and around the shop, and she is a friend of the family so I knew she would do a great job. I didn't have to have her make anything for me. I guess we will really see in 2 weeks lol

I say samples of what he did for other wedding but never using my flowers. I just told him what flowers I wanted and what color and I trusted him and I loved how everything came out.
