I am getting beautiful calligraphy done on my envelopes so am tempted to send an invite to myself so I have a complete and beautiful one for my own keepsake box.
Any thoughts on this? Did anyone else do this? Did you send it to FH and yourself or just yourself? Is it madness?

i kept one for myself but didnt send it. I wish maybe i did have our names with the calligraphy. Do it if you want to

I plan on keeping one and also getting one in the mail. The one in the mail is too see how quickly it get's inhouse and the one I'm keeping for my memory chest.

at the very least (if you have the extra envelopes), i would have the calligrapher address one to you & FH.
we mailed it to ourselves, i wanted the memory of the postmark and wanted to see when it arrived and what condition, etc.

I'm definitely doing this! I like the sentimentality of it all, plus I'd like to do either a scrapbook, shadowbox, or collage with our engagement and wedding things.

im not...i figured id just keep the extras. but ginaz told me her mom wanted to make me a shadow box for the invite (or something like that)...so im not worrying about it
