I just called our local Arthur Murray - they wont give us a price over the phone and said we need many lessons. I was just looking for like 2-3. It's our first dance that we care about. We're not doing anything crazy.
Any advice? How much????

I went to Ann Mercedes in Smithtown. She was so laid back and patient with us.. It was $120 for an hour. We went for just 1 lesson but you can go for as much as you need..
John from Ballroom Dance Long Island - he is amazing, and one of the most reasonably priced out there, for private lessons! Love him!!!

I went to arthur murray...we got a very small package...like 4 private sessions or somethng anf a few groups? It was so fun but it's a lot harder then it looks and I am not sure 4 was enough!!

we went to the new york crystal dance studio in west islip it was $150 for 5- 1/2 hour sessions, and they were very flexible with scheduling... we had a great time and look forward to this sat

We took dance lessons. It was $325 for 5 sessions (one hour each session). And then we paid $75 each for an additional 2 sessions. This is from Bouvard dance studio in NYC.

We kept saying we would and just never got around to it. Ally you'll be great !!!
It was great! DH is a terrible dancer but this was good b/c we could do it in the privacy of our own home and at our own pace. DH's family especially were shocked by all the different turns we knew!
