We also used pencil, I was worried about it rubbing off, but they are all coming back fine and no one has even noticed it!

Nope, I used regular pencil on the back… but didn’t even need to number them since all of my guests remembered to write their name down.

Okay, then I am NOT going to stress and go crazy looking for one...I almost thought of trying to find a spy store and going there. Cuckoo This is one wedding related thing I just need to let go of and do the simple way!

I just used a ballpoint pen... small on the bottom back corner. No one really looks on the back side of them anyway.

Nope...I actually used a blue pen and wrote the number really small on the top left corner. You couldn't see it through the card.

We didn't number any of them in any way... So far so good, all responses (78 so far, I think) have all been filled out perfectly :) I do remember reading posts about this a while back though and I believe the girls said they got the pens in the Toy Store, maybe try toysrus.com?

I used a pencil.
The FH was a little worried that people might see thier invite was number 118 and be insulted.
I said I didnt care, and if they were insulted too bad. Let them be.
This is one TRUE time in the whole wedding planning that I TRULY did not give a flying poo about someone being insulted about their invite number.
Dont worry about it. Just use pen or pencil.

I just used a pencil to the back corner. Simple as pie.
No one didn't write their names, though.

dealextreme.com it was like $3 with shipping. FH had fun with that lol he thought he was all sneaky-like.
But because we spent the time numbering, I bet everyone actually remembers to write their names.

There is a website that sells them. they are like a dollar something each. Super cheap... but I also hear they can stop working.. so be careful and order a few at least. I wouldn't open them to play with them when you get them... don't use them until you are ready to number them.
I plan on using pen on the backs. If people notice.. I don't even care.

We did not number ours and so far all of our guests remembered to write their names on the RSVP cards. Now if I could only get the remaining guest to respond...
