Did you # your rsvp's?

Original post by esb980

I forgot, and I didn't get any blanks, so I was okay. Did you do this? was it helpful?

Yes we numbered the back.
It's been helpful, we got 3 back w/ '2 will attend'

Im not sure what Im doing yet....although I did just read something about someone using that invisible ink stuff that only shows up when you shine a special light on it...just in case you dont want to write on the card where people will see it....not that anyone would probably notice anyway--but just an idea!

We did it & got 1 with no name, but I had the envelope w/ her name anyway. It can't hurt

Re: Did you # your rsvp's?

I just talked to my brother about this on Sunday. I heard that I should do this so I going to and I was talking to my brother and SIL about it. He said someone told him the same thing (he got married last year). He forgot to do it and did not have a problem, but I am planning on being safe than sorry, so yes I will be numbering the response cards.

It was very helpful. I have everything on a excel spread sheet, so the numbers corresponded. So it was easier to find the person on the list, rather then going page to page.

I did and it was helpful because one family was invited and their son just wrote Mr. and Mrs. Smith - all I had to do was look at the # on the back and see which Smith it was.

We numbered them and so far, for the 1 resvp card we've received it hasn't been especially helpful since the one couple who rsvp'd remembered to write their names!

Yes we numbered them - and thank goodness - we received four invites w/out names or responses.

Re: Did you # your rsvp's?

I did because I have 3 couples with the same first and last name, and 4 others with the same last name. I don't want there to be any questions about which Mr. and Mrs. Larry Smith are coming.

Although, numbering doesn't help when a couple is invited and they write '2' in the blank in front of 'Accepts with Pleasure' and '2' in the blank in front of 'Declines with Regret' and they don't have any children!!

I did but everyone has written there names on it so far so I really haven't had a need for them yet.
